“My Happy pill Aristotle”

                                                                     (a memoir)

In our life, memories good or bad will always stay.  But good memories will always be dominant in our lives making us happy and reminding us that happiness will always be around like a rainbow after a storm.  I remember the memory of me and my friends when we were practicing our dance number for the upcoming cheer dance competition two years ago. It was exhausting, it was very tiring but it was all worth it despite of all the tears and sweat that came out of us.

Enemies and friends were formed in those days but 730 days, 24 months or 96 weeks later I still remember every single bit of laughter. That memory sculpted me into who I am today. But not only memories stay but also the lessons that it taught me. That giving up doesn't belong to our choices but resting does. And that no matter happens, the people that you learned with will also stay with you physically or mentally.  Until the end, we never lost hope.

We prayed together and for the first time, we admit that we had that brotherhood feeling and the unity that we lacked before. After sleepless nights memorizing every move, jump and landing, we stepped into the stage, bruises, body ache and all, with smile on our faces, sweat on our foreheads and tears holding back, we danced and lost ourselves into the rhythm.  Shouting our name and desires. We will win and we will succeed.  Less than ten minutes and we were done expressing ourselves and the winner will be called. When we heard "section Aristotle" we jumped, ran and screamed our lungs out. And yes I was right, it was worth every tears and sweat. I was worth it and because of the lessons it taught me I’m willing to do it all over again.
